What is GKF?

GKF is a non-profit, social club promoting the sport of kayak fishing thru activities – camping, recreational kayak fishing, competitive fishing & seminars across GA. The Mission of Georgia Kayak Fishing, Inc. is to foster and promote recreational kayaking and kayak fishing within the state of Georgia. GKF, Inc. encourages and supports social and environmental responsibility toward the lakes, rivers, seashore and other natural resources in and around Georgia.

I joined in 2014. Through participating with the club I have made some lifelong friends and learned a lot about kayak fishing in different types of water around the state of Georgia.

Nick Adams

When I moved from out of state to Georgia, I wanted to meet new people and kayaking looked like fun. Well, it's so much fun that I now own many kayaks and paddle frequently with the GKF Crew in warmer months.

John Lang

Bass fishing from a kayak is so much fun! When I first started in 2018, I barely knew how to tie on a hook. After a bunch of events and making some fishing buddies, I'm paddling nearly every weekend and loving it!
