Savannah River Lakes
Hartwell, Richard B. Russell & Clarks Hill (J. Strom Thurmond)

These three lakes which make up a large portion of the Georgia - South Carolina Border are prime fishing destinations. Along with oversized versions of the other species typical of the region, anglers can find themselves tangling with the small scale cousin of the Largemouth, the Redeye bass. Lake Hartwell holds the current State Record of 3 pounds 7 oz.
