Lake Varner is an electric-only lake in Covington, GA. It is well stocked with largemouth bass, hybrid bass, bream, crappie and catfish. Newton and Walton County residence are able to use the facilities free of charge while "out-of-towners" pay a $5 fee per car and $5 fee per boat.
