TopMission Statement

The Mission of Georgia Kayak Fishing, Inc. is to foster and promote recreational kayaking and kayak fishing within the state of Georgia and throughout the Southeast. Moreover, GKF, Inc. encourages and supports behavior, events, and products that emphasize social and environmental responsibility toward the lakes, rivers, seashore and other natural resources in and around Georgia.

As an adopted son of Georgia, Tony has re-discovered the majesty of the outdoors, rekindled his respect for nature and steadfastly believes Georgia is endowed with a diversity of natural resources unmatched by anyplace in the world.

We asked David for a fishing photo and he truthfully replied, “I never catch any.” But he does faithfully play pick-up soccer on Sundays so we got this candid shot after a match.

Sam is a life long resident of Covington, Newton County Georgia who has been fishing since he could walk. He is a “saltwater junkie” that began fishing from a kayak in Sept. of 2006. That first King Mackeral from the kayak was all it took. He said: “I am having more fun than I did as a child”.
