When you join GKF, you become a member of a larger community of concerned and active people who love fishing, being outdoors, and take seriously our responsibility as stewards of Georgia water ways and access areas to all Georgia’s lakes, streams, rivers, swamps, and sea shores.

Your membership will connect you with a myriad of resources, events, and activities related to Georgia’s fishing and water resources.

Our members are excited about the growth of environmentally conscious kayak fishing, introducing citizens of Georgia, and others, to the beauty and bounty of our state, and in protecting and improving kayak fishing access to waterways that may not traditionally be viewed as ‘navigable’ in the current mindset of many decision makers.

• Keep the Website and Forum functional and accessible to
  members and interested non-members.
• Cover costs for printing pamphlets and promotional
  materials about Kayak Fishing in Georgia.
• Provide the seed money to coordinate and organize recreational
  and educational fishing, camping, and paddling events.
• Support the Georgia Kayak Fishing Foundation.

• During 2011 GKF will be sponsoring a series of non-competitive, recreational, and friendship building events entitled “Lets Fish Georgia” which will include a wide variety of River, Lake, Swamp, and Salt Water fishing opportunities.

Please note — members added after June 26, 2011 will not receive membership gear until the 2012 Membership Drive.  They will however be eligible for discounts on LFG events.

Supporting Membership – $35

Affordable to anyone, the supporting membership benefits includes:

Benefactor Membership – $75

For individuals who see the environmental, community service and educational mission as a means of giving back to our community and our state. Benefits include:

Lifetime Membership – $250

For those who not only see the mission and purpose of GKF as important but who wish to make a contribution to future growth and expansion. Benefits include:
