River Fishing in Georgia
Georgia is home to over 16,000 miles of both warm water rivers and trout streams. Many of these are only accessible by paddle craft and hold a multitude of sport fish species. Along with the usual suspects, kayak fishermen in Georgia have the opportunity to target a variety of Trout, Redeye bass, Shoal bass, Striped bass and Suwanee bass. Safety first when on the river, be sure to check the WATER GAUGES and release schedules for any rivers fed by dams before setting off on a float!
